About The C-C.U.B:

There exists a need for platforms/work stations which are easily portable, and multi-functional. We believe the C-Cub method of design, and construction fulfills the above parameters.

One of the unique aspects of the C-Cub design is its ability to fold over onto itself while maintaining vertical spacing of a work area. This is provided by the hinges, which are unique in design, and application. The hinge system will work effectively on folding tables/platforms of various work functions. Carpentry, welding, painting, household, Etc. By using the hinges design associated with the C-Cub/custom utility board patent. A work table/platform can be created, which when folded, can be stored in a space equal to one half it open size.  The thickness in folded position is determined by the height of any blocking materials. Preferably, blocking interlocks when folded to provide strength, and compactness. We believe that the unique fold ability, strength, and multi-purpose functions of the C-Cub system make it a possible new product line, with varied, and widespread use applications.

We believe that practically anywhere around the globe, where work of measuring, cutting,  and or assembly, of wood, metal, foam insulations, flat plate steel, and or pipe occurs; that the C-Cub system would be a welcome addition to a company or individuals tool kit. In the twenty-four inch folded width/six and one-half foot length, the secondary aspect of the C-Cub, as a emergency backboard for transporting an injured worker would help employers stay within the federal OSHA regulations. When constructed from 3/4 inch thick material, the C-Cub is also strong enough to be utilized in emergency situations as scaffolding, or shoring, and or emergency backboard usage. By using custom design applications, the unique hinging system associated with the patent we are seeking would even allow for a three piece platform which folds while maintaining vertical spacing requirements of blocking of work space on the board/platform.
